About the event

The Waiʻanae Hawaiian Civic Club proposes to host a one-day Waiʻanae Community ʻUkulele Festival at Nānākuli Public Library. This free, family-friendly event will celebrate Hawaiian music, culture, and community through a variety of activities.

Event highlights include:

  • Beginner and intermediate ʻukulele classes

  • Live performances by local musicians

  • Community fellowship and cultural engagement

  • Limited food booths operated by local vendors

The festival will culminate in the giveaway of two ʻukulele instruments (valued at $250 each) to youth participants, encouraging continued musical learning at home.
