About the event
‘Ukulele Summit is a free community event designed to immerse participants of all ages in the joy of music and Hawaiian culture. This event features:
All-day educational workshops on ‘ukulele and ‘ōlelo Hawai‘i
Engaging live performances by professional artists and keiki
Jam sessions
Insightful discussions with master luthiers (instrument builders)
Beyond the in-person experience, our main stage is livestreamed globally, ensuring that anyone, anywhere, can participate in the performances, jams, and cultural exchange. ‘Ukulele Summit proudly showcases our mission of engaging, educating, and enriching all ages, around the world, through music and the ‘ukulele.

With Native Hawaiian Board Members Lina Langi and Cory Mau, we ensure all programming remains true to its Hawaiian roots, incorporating a wealth of cultural and educational practitioners. This commitment, combined with two decades of global performance experience from Craig Chee & Sarah Maisel, alongside professional media expertise, guarantees a high-quality, culturally authentic, and expertly executed event that deeply serves the community. Our partnership with Windward Community College further reinforces the events' cultural foundation.
‘Ukulele Summit is a culmination of our directors' shared expertise and love for the ‘ukulele, evidenced by the inaugural event's success, which drew at least 500 attendees throughout the day.
