Summer Jam | Big Island Substance Abuse Council

The 12th Annual Summer Jam is a free, public, community-wide event held on Hawaiʻi Island, anticipated to take place on the last Saturday of July 2026. Hosted annually for over a decade, Summer Jam has become a signature community gathering that brings together keiki, ʻohana, kūpuna, and community members for a full day of cultural celebration, wellness activities, education, and connection.

This event draws approximately 1,000–1,500 attendees each year and provides a safe, welcoming environment where families can actively engage in health-focused activities, cultural experiences, and community resources.
