About the event

INPEACE is requesting support for a one-year community celebration marking the first anniversary of operations at Nānaikēola, INPEACE’s permanent home in Nānākuli on the Waiʻanae Coast. Known as “Nāna I Ke Ola,” the celebration is both a recognition of a milestone and an affirmation of INPEACE’s long-term commitment to a thriving community livelihood.

For decades, INPEACE has served the Waiʻanae Coast through relationships, trust, and shared work; Nānaikēola represents the realization of that commitment in a lasting, physical space rooted in place and purpose.

The celebration will bring together ʻohana, keiki, kūpuna, educators, community partners, and residents to gather in a space built for community use, reflection, and connection. INPEACE’s Nāna I Ke Ola celebration is intended to acknowledge the collective effort that made Nānaikēola possible and to reinforce the space as a shared community resource dedicated to education, economic opportunity, and community well-being.

Requested funds will support thoughtful planning and implementation of the event, including outreach and activities that create meaningful opportunities for community members to connect with one another and with Nānaikēola as a permanent home for learning, collaboration, and community life.
