Molokai Holo

Join us for the "Molokai Holo" event, where the Digital Bus invites participants to engage in family-friendly activities and explore the beautiful island of Molokai. This event focuses on hands-on workshops that bridge STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) concepts with Native Hawaiian practices, fostering a deeper connection (pilina) with the environment and spaces around us.

Participants can expect to engage in a range of collaborative and educational frameworks, including:

• WEHENA: Start each event with protocols that include Kilo activities.
• MO`OLELO Moment: Experience storytelling through music and dance.
• HOLOHOLO Hour: Register for a Huakaʻi Holo to one of our Digital Bus partner sites, where you will tour and learn about various careers (`oihana) and responsibilities (kuleana) that contribute to the stewardship of our ahupua`a.
• ALOHA `ĀINA Awareness: Participate in activities that nurture your connection to culture, plants, animals, and the environment.
• PILINA Power: Reflect on your experiences through games, activities, and the Digital Bus' Famous Surprise Challenges.
• PANINA: Conclude the event with a mele, pule, or Hawai`i Aloha.

Hosted by the Maui Economic Development Board, Inc. (Digital Bus), this event promises to be an enriching experience for all attendees.
