About the event

For March, we are honored to host and participate in two meaningful community events in Kapolei that celebrate Prince Kūhiō’s leadership, civic service, and enduring contributions. These events are free and accessible to the public, allowing families, youth, and kūpuna to gather, learn, and honor his legacy without financial burden.

Event Details:

  • March 7

    – The Hawaiʻi Ponoʻī Coalition’s Prince Kūhiō Play will be brought to Kapolei, offering a powerful theatrical presentation that shares Prince Kūhiō’s story of leadership, aloha ʻāina, and advocacy for Native Hawaiians.

  • March 28

    – A trolley entry in the Prince Kūhiō Parade, representing the Ewa and Waianae Moku Clubs of the Oahu Council of Hawaiian civic clubs, serves as a visible expression of cultural pride, remembrance, and community unity.

In collaboration with Hawai'i Pono'i, the association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs, and the ʻEwa Moku Clubs (Ahahui Siwila Hawaii O Kapolei, Ewa-Puuloa HCC, Alii Pauahi HCC, Princess Kahanu HCC), these organizations are deeply committed to perpetuating Hawaiian culture and civic responsibility. Together, these partners seek to uplift ʻike kūpuna, inspire our ʻōpio, and reaffirm Prince Kūhiō’s role as a servant leader whose vision continues to guide our communities.
