About the event
Hauʻoli Mahina Honua! Let’s gather to show aloha ʻāina at our Mālama ʻĀina Community Cleanup in honor of Earth Month and Mahina Lāʻau Kamaʻāina (Native Hawaiian Plant Month).
Hosted by Our Kakaʻako and SALT at Our Kakaʻako, this FREE community event brings together ʻohana, friends, and neighbors of all ages to help keep Our Kakaʻako beautiful. Last year, volunteers helped remove over 500 pounds of ʻōpala from the neighborhood.
Mālama ʻĀina Community Cleanup🌱 Saturday, April 25, 2026🌱 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM*Check-in begins at 8:30 AM in The Barn at SALT at Our Kakaʻako
*Cleanup will conclude at Mother Waldron Park, where snacks will be distributed as a mahalo for your kōkua.

✅ Some supplies provided (we encourage you to bring your own durable work gloves)
✅ Refreshments at check-in
✅ Light snacks after the cleanup (while supplies last).
