The event will feature:
- Kuhikuhi (Demonstrations): Hands-on cultural workshops guided by skilled practitioners, including:
- Kuʻi kalo (taro pounding)
- Lei making
- Ulana lauhala (lauhala weaving)
- Ulana niu (coconut weaving)
- Lomilomi
- Kahua keiki leʻaleʻa (Keiki Fun Zone): An engaging and educational space for younger attendees incorporating arts, crafts, and play-based activities rooted in Hawaiian culture.
Keiki will be able to participate in activities that reinforce key cultural values through hands-on experiences. Craft kits with instructions and labels written in ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi will be provided to encourage language immersion throughout the experience. This year will focus on the practice of patience in creating lei through art activities, along with mea kanu ʻōiwi (plant identification). They will also learn the art of kapa printing.
