About the event
The Hawaiʻi Ponoʻī Coalition is proud to present the sixth Hawaiian History Month in 2026, celebrating the 188th birthday of Queen Liliʻuokalani. The month of September will feature numerous in-person and virtual events, kicking off with a concert honoring the Queen on Sunday, August 30, 2026, followed by a birthday program in her honor on Wednesday, September 2, 2026.

- The Beginning of a Garden - Living History Play
- Living History Play in Hilo and Waimea on Moku o Keawe
