About the event
Our proposed KS Kaiāulu event will be a Sunday community gathering designed to uplift Native Hawaiian organizations, ʻike, and ʻike-based practices.
The event will feature booths hosted by Native Hawaiian-serving organizations providing educational ʻike on native Hawaiian plants, traditional cultivation practices, and the cultural significance of ʻāina stewardship. Attendees will have the opportunity to receive a variety of native plant giveaways to support home and community planting efforts.
The event will also include local entertainment and interactive activities to engage ʻohana of all ages, along with merchandise giveaways to build awareness of participating organizations and strengthen community connection. Through education, cultural practice, and celebration, this event aims to boost community engagement, expand our market reach, and deepen pilina around Native Hawaiian values and environmental stewardship.
