About the event
Lahaina Aloha ʻOhana Movie Night is a community gathering created to bring West Side families together in a spirit of pumehana, connection, and hoʻomanaʻo. Hosted at the Kāʻanapali Golf Course, this evening under the stars offers keiki and ʻohana a safe, joyful space to reconnect, laugh, and simply be together.
Grounded in the values of mālama ʻāina and mālama kekahi i kekahi, the event is more than a movie screening. It is an intentional opportunity to strengthen pilina among families who have navigated significant hardship and change. By gathering on ʻāina in Kāʻanapali, we affirm our collective resilience and our commitment to nurturing hope and belonging for Lahaina’s keiki.
The evening will include family-friendly activities, shared meals and refreshments, and a film that uplifts themes of courage, unity, and aloha. Through this shared experience, we seek to restore moments of normalcy, celebrate community strength, and remind our keiki that they are surrounded by care and unwavering aloha.
Lahaina Aloha ʻOhana Movie Night reflects a simple but powerful truth: healing happens in community, and when we gather with intention, joy becomes an act of resilience.
