About the event
Kumu (both formal and non-formal) are invited to spend the day at the 2026 Hawaiʻi Nei Art Exhibition. This event will feature the following activities:
- Explore the native species of Piopio
- View the 2026 exhibit
- Kāpala their own native species wrapping paper
- Receive new educational resources created with the artwork of past Hawaiʻi Nei exhibitions
The incredible artwork from the exhibition celebrates our native plants, animals, and ecosystems. We believe that these pieces can inspire creative, cross-disciplinary lessons that connect students to culture, art, and science.
The educational resources provided will include digital files as well as card decks featuring selected artwork and species.
Hosted by the Three Mountain Alliance Foundation
