PROGRAM OUTCOMES:

The goal of the program was to introduce participants to Ola Honua, or the concept that land/world/earth is that which gives us life and the importance of taking care and creating relationship with our natural spaces and environment.

The students were able to go diving, in the process learning fish and limu identification, explore fishponds and the life that they bring, as well as visit coral researchers and see the effect that climate change is having on our corals and near-shore ecosystems.

We also strived to engrain in participants that practice of wahi pana and being aware of the places and history of the space we occupy.
